There was a time when working with silver was just a curiosity, an evening pastime, a quiet moment of creation after a long day. It began with simple tools and a growing fascination with how metal could be shaped, softened, and brought to life. That fascination slowly deepened, piece by piece, until it became something much more.

That’s where I come in, George Simpson, a self-taught jeweller and silversmith.

What started as a hobby turned into a calling. Over the years, I’ve taught myself the language of metal and stone, guided by instinct, patience, and a deep love for the craft.

Today, I create jewellery that blends traditional techniques with contemporary design, drawing inspiration from both heritage and innovation.

Though silver remains at the heart of my work, I also craft with gold, platinum and copper, each metal offering its own character and challenges. I carefully choose materials that complement the design and the story each piece wants to tell.

Every item I make is handmade and unique, created with intention and care. My aim is not just to make jewellery, but to create meaningful objects, pieces that resonate, that carry emotion, that become part of someone’s journey.

While jewellery is my first love, I also explore other artistic mediums. From time to time, you’ll find these unique creations featured here, available for purchase.
